Gaza City Israeli Strikes Kill Five Palestinians as Post-Ceasefire Death Toll Rises

At least five Palestinians have been killed in two Israeli attacks in Gaza City, according to Palestinian medical sources.

Three people were killed when a drone-fired missile struck a vehicle in the Tel al-Hawa area. Another attack reportedly killed two people in a crowded area of Gaza City, where displaced families were sheltering.

The Israeli military said the strikes targeted Hamas fighters, while Palestinian sources reported civilian casualties.

The latest deaths come despite the October ceasefire, which halted major fighting but has not ended Israeli military attacks in Gaza. Palestinian health officials say at least 1,320 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli attacks since the ceasefire began.

The continuing violence has raised renewed concerns about the durability of the ceasefire and the worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza.
