A website affiliated with Palestinian armed groups’ security networks has warned of what it described as increased Israeli intelligence activity in Gaza ahead of Israel’s parliamentary election, scheduled for October 27.

Al-Majd Security said field observations and intelligence assessments pointed to heightened surveillance across the territory. The website cited an increased presence of Israeli drones, including aircraft locally known as “zannana”, and reported low-altitude flights near residential areas.

It warned that the activity could precede operations targeting leaders, members or security personnel linked to Palestinian armed groups. The site urged those groups to remain vigilant and follow security precautions.

The report did not identify specific targets or provide evidence that an operation was imminent. The warning is presented here as Al-Majd Security’s assessment.

The warning comes amid broader concerns about the use of surveillance aircraft and targeted operations in Gaza. The website also referred to threats it attributed to Israeli security officials, including statements about pursuing armed-group leaders inside and outside the territory.

Israel’s election is scheduled for October 27. The website linked its concerns to the approaching vote but did not provide further detail explaining how the election might affect Israeli military or intelligence decisions.
