Seven Palestinians were killed and 24 injured in Israeli attacks across Gaza over a 24-hour period, the territory’s Health Ministry said on Wednesday. The ministry said hospitals had received the casualties as attacks continued despite the ceasefire.
Separate reports from hospitals and civil defence teams described deaths in several parts of the Strip. Seven Palestinians were reported killed in strikes on Tuesday, including people in central Gaza, Jabalia, Zeitoun and western Gaza City. The reported victims included a married couple and a teenager.
The Israeli military said one strike in Jabalia targeted a Hamas member it accused of participating in the October 7, 2023 attack on Israel. The military’s statement did not account for all the deaths reported by Palestinian medical and rescue services.
Gaza’s Health Ministry said the latest casualties added to a toll of more than 1,500 Palestinians killed since the ceasefire took effect in October 2025. Figures from the ministry are reported by health facilities in the territory; access restrictions and damage to infrastructure make independent verification of each incident difficult. The latest deaths underline how fragile the truce remains for civilians across Gaza.
